Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a Finance and Capital Executive with 1 to 3 years of experience to support day-to-day financial operations, accounting, compliance, and reporting across ETPL's business units and product portfolio.

This is a hands-on role within the Finance and Capital function, covering financial control and accounting, business finance, treasury and cash management, commercial finance, compliance and governance, procurement and cost management, and finance systems. The Executive will work closely with senior finance team members to ensure accurate and timely financial processing, maintain compliance with statutory requirements, and support the analytical needs of the broader organisation.

The role is well suited to an early-career finance professional who is detail-oriented, process-disciplined, and looking to build experience across a range of finance sub-functions within a growing technology company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
  • Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and inter-company accounts on a regular basis, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies
  • Process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and payment runs in accordance with approval workflows and payment schedules
  • Assist in managing GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements, including return preparation and coordination with consultants
  • Support audit processes, both internal and statutory, by organising documentation, responding to queries, and maintaining well-structured financial records
  • Assist in tracking budgets against actuals across departments and flagging variances to senior finance team members
  • Maintain and update the procurement and cost management register, supporting vendor onboarding and purchase order processing
  • Support treasury functions including monitoring of cash positions, bank account management, and preparation of fund flow statements
  • Contribute to the improvement of finance processes, templates, and controls as the organisation scales
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including operations, revenue, and people functions to resolve finance-related queries and ensure accurate cost allocation

Experience and Profile

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, or a related finance role
  • A degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required; CA Inter, CMA Inter, or MBA Finance is an advantage
  • Exposure to GST, TDS, and statutory compliance in an Indian business context is expected
  • Prior experience in a technology company, SaaS business, or multi-entity organisation is preferred
  • Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar is expected
